How do I buy cryptocurrency using BitPay?

BitPay offers a buy cryptocurrency feature from our partners on bitpay.com or using the BitPay app on iOS and Android.

Purchasing Cryptocurrency using a BitPay app partner:

1. Open the BitPay app
2. Select the (↗↙) icon and then Buy Crypto
3. Enter the amount (minimum amount is required)
4. Select Choose Crypto and then your wallet key and cryptocurrency wallet (wallet creation required before purchasing)
5. Continue with the best partner offer or select the box to edit payment or partner choice
6. Log in or create an account with the partner

Purchased cryptocurrency will not be available immediately. Do not delete your key or uninstall/reinstall the app, as you may lose access to any wallets not backed up.

If you have purchased cryptocurrency using a partner’s services and have not received your funds, experienced an issue, or have questions about their service, please reach out directly to the partner's support team for assistance.

Not interested in using a Buy Crypto partner, but are a US resident with a Coinbase account? The BitPay app is integrated with Coinbase, so BitPay Invoice payments can be submitted directly from your Coinbase account.
