Purchasing Gift Cards using BitPay

BitPay Gift Cards enable shoppers to convert their cryptocurrency to digital gift cards. Gift Card purchases are available in the BitPay app using the BitPay Wallet as well as using the Pay with BitPay Google Chrome extension.

Purchasing a gift card in the BitPay app or using the Pay with BitPay extension requires a BitPay account and an approved BitPay ID.

Get started by logging into your account or creating a BitPay account. After logging in, complete BitPay ID Verification or confirm if you're account is already verified.

Purchasing Gift Cards using the BitPay app:  

1. Open the BitPay app and select the Gear icon
2. Confirm your account is linked, or select the Log In or Sign Up
3. Complete BitPay ID verification if not approved
4. Select the Tag icon (to the right of the Home icon) and then browse gift cards from over 100 brands
5. Select a brand and then Buy Gift Card
6. Enter amount (minimum/maximum card amount can vary by brand)
7. Select a wallet stored on your device containing cryptocurrency
8. Review transaction details and then slide to confirm the transaction
9. The gift card details will now be displayed in the app
