Connecting your Coinbase account to the BitPay app to pay a BitPay Invoice

The Coinbase OAuth2 protocol enables Coinbase account holders to authorize access to applications, such as the BitPay app, without sharing the account's login credentials. Once a Coinbase account is connected to the BitPay app, the account holder can use their balance on Coinbase to pay BitPay Invoices. 

Connecting a Coinbase account to the BitPay app:

1. Open the BitPay app and select the Gear icon
2. Select Connections and then Coinbase
3. Select Connect or Sign Up for Coinbase
4. Log in to your Coinbase account or create a Coinbase account
5. Authorize BitPay to access your Coinbase account

You should now see your Coinbase account and balances in the BitPay app. When making a payment using the BitPay app, you can select either your Coinbase account or your BitPay Wallet. Using your Coinbase account to pay a BitPay Invoice, miner fees are not required.

Coinbase account access can be revoked on Coinbase.com if you no longer wish to use your Coinbase account with the BitPay app.
