How to Purchase a Gift Card

BitPay Wallet users can buy gift cards in-app with their wallet funds for multiple major brands such as Uber, Delta, and Amazon. See our announcement blog post and the gift cards available in your country.

Please note that an email address is required to purchase gift cards. To enable email notifications in your BitPay App, tap on the gear icon on the tabs bar in the bottom of the screen. Then tap Notifications and then tap Enable email notifications. Enter an email address for notifications about payments in your wallet.

To purchase a gift card from within the BitPay App:

1. Open your BitPay App.
2. Tap the card icon in the tabs bar (bottom).
3. Scroll down to Buy Gift Cards and tap Get Started.
4. Select desired gift card.
5. Enter desired amount.
6. Select which wallet to use to purchase the gift card.
7. Slide to confirm transaction.
