If your BitPay Wallet is showing an incorrect balance or transaction history, try both clearing your wallet’s cache and scanning the wallet’s addresses.
Clearing the wallet’s cache synchronizes the wallet with the server.
To clear your BitPay Wallet’s cache:
- Tap the gear icon in the tabs bar in the bottom to bring up the Settings menu.
2. Scroll down to the Crypto Wallets & Keys section and choose the Key that contains the wallet you would like to clear.
3. Select the wallet name under the Wallets section.
4. Choose Transaction History near the bottom of the Wallet Settings page.
5. Choose Clear Cache.
After clearing the wallet’s cache, we recommend scanning that wallet’s addresses for funds.
Click the back arrow on the wallet view.
To scan a wallet’s addresses for funds:
- Tap the gear icon in the tabs bar in the bottom to bring up the Settings menu.
2. Scroll down to the Keys section and choose the wallet you would like to scan.
3. Select the wallet name under the Wallets section.
4. Choose Addresses in the Advanced section.
5. Choose Scan address for funds.
If neither of these work to resolve your issue, please reach out to our support team with screenshots and transaction details.
