Can BitPay refund my order?

BitPay can directly refund your order if you have an underpaid invoice or if the invoice expired before the payment was made to the payment address.

If the invoice is overpaid, BitPay can refund only the overpaid amount unless the merchant authorizes a full refund.

If the invoice is fully paid, we require merchant authorization to issue a refund.
