1% Processing Fee
BitPay's payment processing service for merchants has a simple pricing plan - just a 1% processing fee. This 1% fee is assessed on each paid invoice.
For example, if your customer pays a 100 USD invoice, the invoice price (100 USD) will be credited to your merchant ledger, then a 1% fee (1 USD) will be debited from your ledger.
Please see BitPay's pricing page for more information about our pricing.
Refund Fees for Fully Paid Invoices
Sometimes merchants may want to issue a partial or full refund for a paid invoice. When you issue a refund to your customer, BitPay will deduct the miner fee amount from your merchant ledger balance. This deduction will be a separate entry in your BitPay ledger after we execute the refund.
Refund fees for payment exceptions (such as underpayments and overpayments) are deducted from the invoice's balance and are paid by the customer. (Why is my underpayment or overpayment refund less than I paid?)
