If a BitPay Invoice payment error occurs, the shopper's BitPay account email automatically receives a refund notification from noreply@bitpay.com.
The email contains a refund link to collect your refund address and return the funds. This refund link is only valid for 3 days. If you do not collect the refund within 3 days, please contact BitPay Support using the BitBot (bottom right) to request a new refund email.
After following the refund link and logging in, you will be directed to a page to enter your refund address. Once submitted, you will receive another email confirming that your refund is processing. The refund should be completed within 1-2 business days.
A final email notification will be sent once the refund is executed and the cryptocurrency amount has been successfully refunded to your wallet address.
