For all issues, we ask that you first attempt to resolve your issue with our support team -- they can be reached via support@bitpay.com or via creating a ticket with the bot on our support page.
If our support team is unable to resolve your issue and you wish to register a complaint regarding our services, there are several ways you may do so.
All customers and merchants may submit a formal complaint to us by sending an email to complaints@bitpay.com. There is no charge associated with submitting a complaint.
We encourage you to provide all relevant transaction information, as well as identifying information so we can effectively look into your complaint. Note that if a complaint is sent to this address but a support ticket has not yet been answered, the complaint will be redirected to our support department and the complaint closed.
Feel free to utilize the European Banking Authority Complaint form attached to the bottom of this article; though doing so is not required for any complaints.
Formal complaints may also be sent to governmental regulators with authority over BitPay's services, as we cooperate with all regulatory complaints.
Once a complaint is submitted our leadership team will investigate; most complaints will receive a response within 5 business days.
