As a BitPay Cardholder, you should call the cardholder services team if you need help with any of the below:
- Card to Card transfers
- Reset your PIN
- Add an authorized user
- Close your account
- Dispute unrecognized charges
- Set a travel notification
- BitPay Card is locked abroad
- Update your personal information (phone number, mailing address, etc.)
- Questions about pre-authorized holds
- Need a replacement card
- Blocked or frozen account
- Questions about a declined transaction

New Customers
The automated system will ask for your 16 digit card number. However, if you have not received your card, please stay on the line to be transferred to an agent. This may take a few minutes.
Existing Customers
Existing customers should be prepared to provide the following:
- The 16 digit card number
- First and last name
- Last four digits of Social Security Number
- Date of birth
- Full mailing address
Existing cardholders do not need a reference number when calling the number on the back of the card. Our card services team is unable to locate your cardholder account using your original application’s reference number. The reference number is used by the BitPay support team to assist with application inquiries. If you provide a reference number, the cardholder services representative will refer you to the BitPay support team.
