The BitPay wallet is available on the following platforms:
Note: We no longer support the Windows Phone and Chrome app versions of the BitPay wallet. Microsoft is no longer releasing new updates for Windows Phone, and Google is soon to end support for Chrome apps.

Installing on Desktop
If you are using the wallet on a desktop computer, you can download the most recent version of the BitPay wallet here.
You will see the latest release assets list. Those are all the files available for download.
Scroll down and click on the square corresponding to your operative system so the download starts:

Installing on Windows
Click on the Windows square to download the file.
Once the download has completed, click on Bitpay.exe in the lower left corner of the browser to run the installer.
Select your desired language and follow the step by step wizard through the end.
Installing on Mac
Watch this video to see how to install the BitPay app on MacOS:
Click on the macOS square to download the file.
When the download has finished, click on Bitpay.dmg on the lower left corner of the browser window.
Then, to install the BitPay app, click and hold on the BitPay logo and drag it to the folder on the right side.
Installing on Linux
These steps or names might slightly change according to your Linux distribution, but it is similar to identical for most Linux systems.
Here is a video on how to install the BitPay app on Linux and run the app from the console:
Click on the Linux square to download the file.
After downloading the file, you have to extract the folder in it.
Create a folder manually with the Linux "explorer" and extract the files there to keep the installation tidy. (Remember where you created the folder, you will need this later).
To execute the app, you have two options:
- Run the wallet using the console. This is the method shown in the video guide. It might slightly change according to your Linux distribution.
- Create a launcher on your desktop so you can double click on it and open the wallet.
To create a launcher on your desktop:
1. Right Click on your desktop (the wallpaper) and click on Create a new launcher here...
2. Enter a name for the launcher (the shortcut).
3. Click Browse.
4. Look for the folder containing the files, and double click on the file named BitPay.
5. Click OK.
You will have your launcher on the desktop. Now you can double click on it and open the BitPay wallet.
