You can easily add your Copay wallet to BitPay by restoring your Copay wallet backup in the BitPay App. In the same way, you can also use the recovery phrase to move a wallet from any one application to another, such as from your mobile device to your desktop.
If you have the twelve word recovery phrase for your Copay wallet, click the gear icon in the tabs bar in the bottom of the BitPay App to bring up the Settings menu.
Tap Import Key.
Then, under the Recovery Phrase tab in the BitPay App, type your 12-word Copay recovery phrase and click IMPORT. You can also import the file.
You will now be able to view the same wallet in both your Copay and the BitPay Apps. Changes made to the wallet in one app will be reflected in the other.
To avoid duplicate notifications, disable notifications in one of your apps. To disable notifications, click the gear icon in the bottom right. Then, under General, select Notifications. Toggle all of the notifications to off, which will look like the below screenshot:
You can also delete a wallet from your Copay device (after you have imported it into BitPay) by clicking (in the Copay app) on the gear icon in the bottom right. Then select the key you wish to delete under Crypto Wallets & Keys and select Delete. Deleting the key in Copay will not delete the key in your BitPay App.
